What happens if one of my items breaks?
If one of your personal items breaks during the move, you can rest assured that we will take care of it for you. We are fully insured and take these matters seriously. Our team of movers is trained to properly and carefully handle all of your items, so accidents such as this do not occur.
Do I need to be home to help the movers when they arrive?
Yes. You do need to be home when the movers arrive at your house and this is for a couple of reasons. First, the movers will need to go over some paperwork with you. Secondly, you need to be able to tell the movers which items to move and which items will remain at the property.
You do not have to help our movers actually move the boxes, so you can focus on other things within your home while the movers perform the work. If you cannot be home for some reason or you need to appoint someone else to wait at your home for the movers, call our office first at 973-828-8391.
Do you provide estimates for my move?Yes. Totowa Moving Companies provides FREE estimates and all of our estimates are free from hidden fees and upcharges. We do not charge sales tax, a fuel fee, or even a fee to come out to your home on the weekend or a holiday.
What steps do you take to protect the moving truck with my valuables in it?
We take the safety of your items seriously and each one of our team members is trained to keep the truck properly secured and your items safe. If the truck needs to make a pit stop, one of the movers will always stay with the truck. Should the movers need to spend the night somewhere, they will lock the truck, park it strategically, and also ask the hotel security guard to keep an eye on it.
